Men Golf Balls V.S. Women Golf Balls
Many golf companies have designed and manufactured golf shoes, bags, clubs, and even balls specifically for women. Other accessories have different sizes or are divided by gender, buy what about golf balls? Is there any difference between women's golf balls and men's golf balls?
As you know, the average female golfer's swing speed is about 60 to 65 mph. approximately one-third slower than the average man. (Excluding LPGA players). The angle of attack is more shallow, and her typical ball flight is low and has little spin - the opposite of most male players. To help female golfers get more height and distance out of their shots. most manufacturers make women-specific balls with soft cores that compress even under slight pressure, increasing ball speed fore golfers who have slow swing speed. The majority of these balls have soft ionomer covers for increased feel and dimple patterns designed to add lift.
We don't design golf balls by gender, all we care about is your swing profile. Other elements like compression, dimples...., they're pretty much the same, so you don't have to worry about whether the golfers is a man or a woman. Many female golfers like SS2 Soft or Tour Performance S, as it truly gives you the ultra soft feel and maximum distance you want, even if you don't have fast swing speed.
